Warm temps bring the possibility of severe storms Sunday

1 seriously injured after stabbing in south Austin, officials say

AUSTIN (KXAN) -- One person was seriously injured after a reported stabbing in south Austin Saturday, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.Shortly before 9 p.m., the Austin Police Department and ATCEMS medics responded to the 1200 block of South Lamar Boulevard, an APD watch commander said.Medics transported an unidentified adult to the hospital with serious injuries.It was not immediately clear what led to the incident, and there was no information about a possible suspect or an arrest, according to police.The incident remained under investigation Saturday.

Rep. Bryan Slaton could be expelled from Texas House over allegations of misconduct

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A month-long investigation inside the Texas House led to a stunning announcement Saturday, as its findings recommended the expulsion of Rep. Bryan Slaton over an alleged sexual relationship with an intern and other misconduct allegations.Rep. Bryan Slaton, a former youth and family minister, represents District 2, Hopkins, Hunt, and Van Zandt counties in East Texas. He is serving his second term in the Texas House of Representatives.Rep. Andrew Murr, chair of the House General Investigating Committee, made the announcement on the Texas House Floor. He said the committee vetted several complaints that claimed Rep. Slaton gave alcohol to underage interns, and had sex with one intern under the age of 19.The 16-page report on the investigation also alleged that Slaton intimidated witnesses into being silent about the misconduct.During his presentation, Rep. Authorities search for missing Los Angeles County man

(KRON) -- After the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors split the first two games of their Western Conference Semifinals series in San Francisco, it was all Lakers in Game 3. Los Angeles won 127-97 Saturday night, taking a 2-1 series lead.The Lakers' star duo of LeBron James and Anthony Davis were both at their best in Game 3. Davis posted game-best totals in points (25), rebounds (13), steals (3), and blocks (4). James scored 11 points in the third quarter to help the Lakers build a commanding lead.
